As a new instructor, you are going to need to buy some first aid equipment and at ProTrainings we sell all of what you are going to need. So the first thing you need to do is mannequins, as you might have learned on your course. PractiMan range is very good range to have. It works very well because they are a two in one mannequin, so you have got an adult and a child all built into the same mannequin. And you can have different choices, the standard, the advanced or the plus. Now, we would recommend the advanced or the plus because the new regulations state that you must practise jaw thrust and also there is a much bigger emphasis in training on female CPR. So with the PractiMan range, you can have the female skins to put on them and also you can practise jaw thrust, which you cannot do with any other mannequin. So mannequin choice there, I mean, get yourself at least three mannequins so that you can run the courses because you have to have one mannequin per four students, four if you want to make the classes a bit more practical, but you only actually need three. So three babies and three of the adults and then you have got the mannequins you need. Maybe consider getting some spares and things like that. Other things you are going to need is AED trainers. You are going to need to have three of those. And there are lots of different types of trainers we use. Some people will buy one of each brand or a generic low cost unit. Again, you can talk to us about that and we can come up with the correct one that is best for you. So, you know, if you need bits and pieces on the AED trainer side talk to us, you do not have to spend a load of money on them because some of the generic trainers are very good and they are reasonably priced as well. When you are looking at a branded one to match a particular brand of AED, that is where costs sometimes increase. You are also going to need first aid supplies. So at ProTrainings we have got a whole warehouse here of dressing kits, bits and pieces. So all the bits and pieces you are likely to need, from gloves to dressings, all the things you consume you will use on your courses. Now, if you want, we also do kits, so there are different kits we call instructor kits. This includes the mannequins, includes the sort of recommended kit of bits and pieces you like to need and the AED trainers and you can buy these in different levels depending on what you want, whether you want the lower cost mannequins PractiMans or you want the plus electronic feedback mannequins or the standard, the advanced ones. So look at the kits we do. Sometimes they are the best choice because they work out better value for money. Everything you need is there and you can hit the ground running with all the stuff you need. What you do not really want to be doing is buying loads of other stuff that is not really necessary. You know, having a skeleton and stuff like this is great if you can, but if you are running a course with a customer on the third floor, you do not want to be carrying all this stuff in. So some aids are good, but I would look to start with at getting what you need and then seeing what you need to make your lessons better. And if you think something is good later on, then you can get it. And we sell all this stuff. But I would say, you know, be careful what, what you go for. One bit of kit that is really worth it is the choking vest. Choking vest is a simple way of demonstrating choking and it is great fun because all these students will absolutely love it. Now, using the ProTrainings dashboard, it has free digital books for your students. But if you want to have paper versions, you can buy the paper versions of the ProTrainings books, or we do the TQUK versions of books as well. You can buy those. The best sort of values are buying the packs of 25 or 50 or 100. That is something that is well worth adding into your list if you need them. But the whole point of the ProTrainings system is to avoid having to have books. So, you know, we are one hundred per cent digital. There is no paperwork when you do the courses. You know, you do not need books because they are all on it. And we use the video backups as well. Even the certificates are digital. So do not spend money on books if you do not really need to, because it is just going to add to your cost per student when you start running courses. Now, if you need any help on buying equipment, whether you are on your course, come and see us. You come and see our store. You can go through and look at the stuff, you can use it on the courses. Or if you want to come and visit us, please make an appointment first. We are pretty busy running around. We will always make time for you if you want, but just get in touch with our supplies department. Say you want to come over and buy the equipment, you are not sure what you want. We can give you all the advice you need, but if not, you can contact us through online chat, telephone or email and we can go through the equipment needs you have. The key question always is budget. Now, I would always recommend you start at least have the advanced PractiMan. That is probably the most, the biggest seller we have for any advanced. And definitely have the female skins. You do not need three female skins, you can just have one or two skins. So, you know, some of your mannequins are male, some are female, and that works very, very well. But if you think of any questions, not sure what to do, then please get in touch with us.
